| Captain Mike Copeman
is a US Coast Guard Licensed Captain possessing
a OUPV Near Coastal to 100 miles offshore
License. Capt. Mike has been fishing inshore
and offshore waters for over 25 years. He
is the owner and operator of the Renegade
and not a captain for hire. This ensures you
the utmost professional and quality service
while aboard the Renegade. He is licensed
to carry from 1 – 6 passengers which
provides for a pleasurable uncrowded experience
at close to head boat prices. Our attention
to detail and commitment to finding the fish
is never compromised; we will jig, troll,
chum, chunk, clam, or drift pots to catch
fish. Our terminal tackle is self manufactured
and proprietary exceeding off the shelf standards.
We spare no expense, fluorocarbon leaders,
Owner and Gamakatsu hooks are always used.
New for 2007, complimentary broadband wireless
internet / email available. The Renegade fishes
the waters within 100 miles of Manasquan Inlet,
NJ. We specialize in open boat trips for all
species. |

| Customer comfort
and safety onboard is always paramount
and never compromised. U.S. Coast Guard safety
equipment is inspected, maintained and updated.
The Renegade is a custom built 29’ Topaz
powered by twin reliable / captain maintained
inboard Volvo diesels, turbo charged and after
cooled, obtaining a 30 knot cruise. To shelter
the elements, she offers a full heated enclosure
and cabin, a 100 square foot unobstructed
fishing cockpit with a free and clear stern.
There is a 6’ 4” galley complimented
with custom teak joinery, carpet, a microwave,
refrigerator, coffee maker, 3 individual bunk
beds, stand up head, and shower with hot and
cold pressurized water. Full tuna tower with
seating and controls. Electronics are state
of the art including Raytheon 24 mile radar,
Pains Wessex 406 EPIRB, Furuno chart plotter,
3 Icom vhf’s, 2 Furuno gps’s,
Furuno sonar, Raytheon auto pilot, and Furuno
water temp. The salon incorporates custom
seating with built in tackle lockers and three
160 quart built in fish boxes / coolers custom
manufactured by Nautical Design. Infrared
satellite temperature charts are obtained
on all offshore charters. |

| The Renegade supplies
and uses only top quality Penn and Shimano
reels mated to Ugly Stick rods for ultimate
dependability. Braided line is used on all
spinning reels for the ultimate light tackle
experience. For live lining, a custom manufactured
80 gallon, dual aerated, high capacity live
well is utilized. |
